Rebecca qualified as a family law solicitor in 1993 and has extensive experience in the field of family law.
She deals with all aspects of family law including divorce, financial matters, disputes regarding children and domestic abuse matters.
Rebecca recognises that a relationship breakdown often involves stress and financial upheaval and that a breakup brings uncertainty about the future and concerns about what life will be like for clients without their partner. She appreciates that receiving the best legal advice is extremely important and can help address those concerns and reassure parties that there is a way forward.
She’s always taken the approach that a professional and empathetic approach with clients, together with forging a good rapport with the other party or their solicitor is of paramount importance. This enables sensible discussions to take place between the parties to limit points of dispute at an early stage and prevent unnecessary costs accumulating.
Rebecca’s a member of Resolution, a group of family lawyers who believe that a non-confrontational approach to family law issues produces a better outcome for separating families and their children. Rebecca always makes sure that an emphasis is placed on minimising unnecessary hostility and successfully resolving matters by having a clear understanding of her client’s aims.
