Jamie is a Solicitor and also the Head of the Dispute Resolution team. He joined Nash & Co Solicitors in April 2019. He has more than 5 years expertise as a civil litigator and has advised on a range of matters including contractual and commercial disputes, landlord and tenant, construction disputes, private prosecutions, commercial and residential property matters, debt recovery and data protection breaches.
Jamie regularly advises on partnership and company disputes, to include assisting with breaches of restrictive covenants against directors, unfair prejudice claims brought by shareholders and a partner’s rights and obligations on leaving a business.
He has worked with local authorities and schools in advising on public sector governance, complaints and procurement rules. He has also advised on a range of discrimination and education law matters and represented clients in the SEND tribunal. His knowledge of admissions law has led him to become a proficient trainer and he has delivered training to independent appeal panels, legal clerks and council officers.
Jamie has significant experience as a legal advocate and has represented a wide range of clients in county and magistrate courts throughout the country.
