Nash & Co Solicitors extends Plymouth Albion partnership with Youth Development sponsorship
Written by Nash & Co Solicitors | 10 September 2026
We are delighted to announce a significant extension to our partnership with Plymouth Albion rugby club, with the as we have become the headline sponsor for the club's Youth Development section for the 2025/26 season.
The new agreement follows the recent announcement that we have become an Official Club Partner, with the firm's logo appearing on the senior team's playing shorts this season.
The latest partnership will see us support Plymouth Albion's growing Youth Development section, which gives children from across Plymouth, Devon and Cornwall, the opportunity to experience rugby, develop new skills and enjoy being part of a team in a supportive and friendly environment.
Albion currently has boys' teams at Under 6, Under 7, Under 8, Under 10, Under 11, Under 12 and Under 13 level, alongside girls' teams at Under 12 and Under 14.
Developing young people on and off the pitch
While developing rugby skills is an important part of the programme, Plymouth Albion's approach goes much further.
Teamwork, respect, enjoyment, discipline and sportsmanship are at the heart of the Youth Development section, with coaches helping young players develop qualities that can benefit them both on and off the rugby pitch.
For us as a firm, that wider purpose was an important reason for extending our support of the club.
Ian Grimshaw, Managing Partner at Nash & Co Solicitors, said:
"When we first started talking to Plymouth Albion about working together, we were really impressed by the ambition for the club, but also by what they're building away from the senior team.
"The Youth Development section gives children the chance to discover rugby, make friends and develop qualities such as teamwork, respect and sportsmanship that will stay with them well beyond their time on the pitch. That's something we're very pleased to support. We hope this is the beginning of a long-term relationship with Youth Development and we're looking forward to seeing the players, teams and programme develop over the coming years."
The sponsorship also builds on Nash & Co's wider partnership with Plymouth Albion, which will see the firm's staff becoming increasingly involved with the club throughout the season, attending matches, events and other activities.
James Greenacre, Commercial Director at Plymouth Albion, said:
This is a really exciting next step in our relationship with Nash & Co Solicitors. Their support already has a strong presence within our senior setup, and extending that into Youth Development shows how much they have embraced the wider club.
For us, successful sponsorship is about finding businesses that want to genuinely engage with Plymouth Albion and the community around it. Nash & Co Solicitors have done exactly that.
Youth Development is an important part of where we want to take the club, creating opportunities for more young people to experience rugby at Brickfields and hopefully developing a connection with Albion that lasts for many years.
We’re extremely grateful to Ian and the Nash & Co Solicitors team for investing in that vision, and we’re looking forward to seeing the relationship continue to grow.
Mike Souter, Plymouth Albion Youth Development Chair, said:
Having the support of Nash & Co Solicitors is a huge positive for everyone involved in Youth Development at Plymouth Albion.
We want to give as many young people as possible the opportunity to enjoy rugby at Brickfields, but just as importantly, we want to create an environment where they can make friends, build confidence and learn the values that come with being part of a team.
Our Youth Development section continues to grow, and support from local businesses like Nash & Co Solicitors helps us keep building on that. It’s fantastic to have a business that understands what we’re trying to achieve and wants to be part of that journey
The agreement covers the 2025/26 season, with both Nash & Co Solicitors and Plymouth Albion hoping to build on the partnership and establish a longer-term relationship supporting Youth Development at the club.
For Nash & Co, the partnership is another opportunity to invest in the city it calls home, while helping Plymouth Albion create opportunities for more young people to become involved in rugby and everything that comes with being part of a team.
