Associate, Chartered Legal Executive, and Team Leader with the Residential Property team
I trained as a Legal Executive (now Chartered Legal Executive) with a national law firm and relocated to the South West in 2004. I have worked as a Conveyancer in Plymouth since I moved down. I qualified by working while studying on a long distance course with the Institute of Legal Executives. I have always enjoyed learning and researching and this suited my personal situation at the time. We have a number of Trainee Legal Executives at Nash who enjoy learning in the same way.
During my time as a Conveyancer, I have enjoyed training many others who started out as Assistants, to become fully trained Conveyancers in their own right and this is a very rewarding aspect of the job I do.
I was invited to move to Nash, which I did in 2014 with the aim of developing the Residential Conveyancing Department. Since that time I have helped to create a team of very hard working, service-focused, friendly people, all of whom I am very proud of. We all really enjoy working together and very much enjoy the work we do.
My position as Residential Team Leader at Nash has been rewarded by being made an Associate. This makes me feel valued by the Partners of the firm and sends a signal to other CILEx students that it is not only Solicitors who are rewarded. I look forward to coming in to work each day, to aiming high, achieving high and sharing that with my team, who have the same positive attitude. I very much feel this firm is one to watch – and join if you can!”
